Restricted blood flow to the gums can result in periodontal disease and eventual tooth loss. Saliva production is also restricted from using e-cigarettes. This increases the risk of tooth decay. Tooth decay can be painful and lead to the need for fillings, crown, root canals, or even removal of the tooth/teeth. E-cigarettes can have a significant impact on oral health.
